Subject of the consultation

In keeping with its values of collaboration and commitment, TDRA wishes to study current use and future expectations for the evolution of the Automated Spectrum Management System by engaging all stakeholders in the consultation process.

This consultation is initiated in order to keep abreast of developments to better involve its partners and stakeholders.

Objective

The purpose of this document is to invite comments from stakeholders regarding the TDRA's studies on the current and potential future evolution of an 'intelligent and agile' spectrum management systems used in different countries and how this will be reflected on the spectrum management in UAE and the requirements of resilience in spectrum allocation, licensing and usage.

The comments which are contained in any response to this consultation should be clearly identified with respect to the specific question in this consultation to which such comments refer. Any comments which are of a general nature and not in response to a particular question should be clearly identified as such.

If any Person or entity seeks to clarify or discuss any part of this Regulations can request for a meeting in writing again to the E-mail (spectrumconsultation@tdra.gov.ae) and then TDRA will set the meetings in the period from 15 to 18 August 2022 so that formal comments can still be received by 15.00pm on 9 September 2022.
