Requirements vary depending on the degree of danger of the device to be approved. Device types have been identified for each degree of the danger and divided into three levels as follows:
- Level (1): Least dangerous and does not require a technical inspection.
- Level (2): Medium risk and sometimes requires a technical inspection if requested by the Authority.
- Level (3): It is the most dangerous and requires a technical inspection of the devices.
Communication devices can be classified according to their risk levels in the "Service Remark" section.

- Test report for Radio, Electromagnetic field and safety standards issued by an accredited laboratory (International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) - Level II and III.
- International Mobile Equipment Identity Certificate for all mobile devices that work with the mobile network.
- Provide samples of devices:
• One sample of the following type of equipment:
o Wireless LANs (WLANs) or Wi-Fi
o Analogue Private Mobile Radio (PMR) Equipment
o Maritime services radio
o Amateur Radio
o TETRA
• Two sample of the following types of equipment:
o Mobile phone
