As part of the supporting documentation provided by TDRA for the implementation of Trust Services Framework, the following guidelines are made available:
- TL Guidelines for relying parties: providing guidelines on the validation of qualified and advanced electronic signatures and seals based on the content of the Trusted List.
- TSPs guidelines on the licensing process: providing an introduction for (candidate) TSPs to the supervisory regime they are subject to. In particular, these guidelines present the three phases of that regime, namely initiation, supervision and termination, together with recommendations on how to implement them.
- Digital signature standard manual (guideline on the formats of advanced (and qualified) electronic signature and seals): define implementation aspects, i.e. policy and security requirements of TSPs, digital signature formats, and implementation guidelines.
-
Guidelines for Trust Service Practice Statements:
This includes:
- Trust Service Practice Statement template: that defines implementation aspects, of Qualified and non-Qualified Trust Services. The template specifies the guidelines for Certification Practice Statements (CPS) that can be used by (Qualified) Trust Service Providers providing (qualified) certificates for electronic signatures and seals.
- Time Stamping Authority (TSA) Practice Statement template: the specifics the guidelines for TSA Practice Statements that can be used by QTSP providing qualified time-stamping services.
