Service Description

This service aims to issue a licenses for Trust Service Providers and Trust Service Providers accredited in the United Arab Emirates

Service Steps
Expected Time

Within 30 days from the date of application completion.

Fees

  • Application fee: 5,000 AED
  • License registration fees for one year: 20,000 AED
  • License registration fees for five year: 75,000 AED
  • Request to amend license data and documents: 5,000 AED

Service Conditions
  • The application fee is non-refundable regardless of the final outcome of the application, whether approved or rejected
  • The Authority may reject the application if the requirements are not completed within 60 days from the date of  submitting the application
  • If the license application is approved, the license will be issued against payment of the license issuance fee in advance according to the number and type of services in accordance with the fees regulations.
  • License duration is two years

Service Limitation

The beneficiary of the service is anyone who provides electronic authentication services directly or indirectly to the public for commercial purposes in relation to electronic records , documents and signatures relating to with turbans and e- commerce

  • The articles of association, bylaws , or equivalent documents approved in the country.
  • Statement of business activities of the electronic certification service provider "includes any activities not related to
  • electronic authentication services , if any
  • Company ownership structure diagram
  • Statement of financial resources and audited data for the previous two fiscal years
  • Proof of adequate insurance covering the operations and activities of the electronic certification service provider
  • Declaration of suitability Trusted people
  • 5 copies of the external audit report
  • Statement of electronic certificate practice
