Telecommunications Networks Specifications Manual for Buildings

The TDRA has developed the Telecommunications Networks Specifications Manual for Buildings as the unified national reference for the design and implementation of telecommunications infrastructure in all buildings and new developments across the UAE.
The manual defines the technical standards and requirements that ensure every building is equipped with a future-ready telecommunications network, supporting high-speed fiber-optic connectivity and smart building solutions. The manual was developed in collaboration with the main licensees (Etisalat by e& and du), as well as relevant government entities and key stakeholders.

These technical guidelines, approved by the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC), were developed under the supervision and coordination of the TDRA, in collaboration with du, Etisalat by e&, and several relevant government entities.
