“Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning program” showcases the development initiatives of Educational environment to offer the smart classrooms in UAE at Hamdan Bin Rashid Award for the Distinguished Academic Performance 2013

‘Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning program’ team has participated today (Wednesday, 24 April 2013) at the closing ceremony of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for the Distinguished Academic Performance in its 15th edition which took place at Dubai World Trade Centre for Conventions and Exhibitions. The program’s participation comes in a purpose to contribute to getting Dubai an excellent environment for smart learning through showcasing the latest technologies which create a convenient education environment for students as well as considering the priority in the meantime is for offering the smart classrooms in UAE via the deployment of state-of-the-art technology in UAE schools.

The Smart learning program team has made a detailed briefing for the participants on the Smart learning program and introduced the most prominent initiatives that it offers in the field of enabling the education sector in the country which took a part at Hamdan Award’s Exhibition on the sidelines of the closing ceremony of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for the Distinguished Academic Performance which is being sponsored by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance. Moreover, the team has presented the importance to work on linking the education with the technology and knowledge environment in order to upgrade the education sector in the emirate of Dubai and all the emirates as well through showcasing the smart classrooms and providing the new technologies which will strengthen the quality of education outcomes in line with the development in UAE socio-economy, in addition to pursue the global developments that the education fields have seen.

Commenting on this occasion, Eng. Mohammed Gheyath, the Director General of Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart learning program has thanked H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the sponsor of Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for the Distinguished Academic Performance for his support to smart learning initiatives as well as the distinguished academic performance which are the base for education future in UAE. Smart learning program considers as a qualitative transformation in the UAE education system and it is a method of life which helps achieve the UAE vision 2021. The smart learning program is eager to enhance the cooperative opportunities with all the partners in Education and technology sectors because of their effective role in executing the transformation process which our schools have seen, with the importance also to build a new generation who is enable to achieve the future ambitions for UAE people, which is getting a big interest and willingness from H.H. Sheikh Khalifah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice president Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai as well as the other Rulers of UAE.
