Master's Degree:

TDRA’s ICT Fund has launched “BETHA program” that aims to enhance the national education sector by supporting UAE academically distinguished cadres to drive the country’s education in ICT related disciplines, in order to meet the ICT sector’s annually growing needs, as well as the increasing demand for ICT specialized national human resources.

BETHA program is in line with ICT Fund’s strategy to support human resources specialized in ICT, including computer engineering, electronic engineering, computer science, information technology, and many other disciplines.

The ICT Fund has invested in national human resources via "Betha" program. It allocated hundreds of study seats for bachelor and master degrees in the most prestigious universities offering ICT study programs.

Documents required for Admission:

  • Full Acceptance/Admission Letter (Conditional or partial Approvals are not accepted)
  • Official IBAN letter under the name of the student that contains the seal (stamp) and signature of the bank.

Admission requirements for the Postgraduate (Master’s) Degree program:

  • Should be a UAE citizen and provide the family book as a proof
  • Should apply for a specialization in the field of telecommunications and information technology
  • Should have achieved a cumulative score of 3.00 and above in the bachelor’s degree
  • Should not have received a scholarship or other financial assistance from any other entity
  • In case of employment, the Master’s degree student is entitled for the scholarship without the monthly allowance
  • (For Males) No objection letter (NOC) from the National Service Authority or letter of completion.
  • Regarding the Engineering and IT Management programs, please note the following additional requirements:
    1- The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in an ICT-related field.
    2- The applicant must provide an official employer recommendation letter supporting the intended degree.

For on-going Master students:

  • CGPA 3.0 and TGPA 3.0 and above with considering:
  • At least 9 credit hours.
 

Students who have not been selected may apply again after at least one semester of university study, with a GPA of no less than 3.0/4.0.
