TDRA’s ICT Fund launched the “BETHA Program” to support academically distinguished UAE nationals and strengthen the national education sector in ICT-related disciplines. The program aims to meet the growing needs of the ICT sector and the increasing demand for qualified national professionals specialized in information and communication technology fields.

The BETHA Program aligns with the ICT Fund’s strategy to empower and develop national human resources in ICT disciplines, including computer engineering, electronic engineering, computer science, information technology, and other related specializations.

Through the BETHA Program, the ICT Fund has invested in national talent by allocating hundreds of scholarships for bachelor’s and master’s degrees at leading universities offering ICT-related programs.

Documents required for Admission:

• Full Acceptance/Admission Letter (conditional or partial approvals are not accepted).
• Official IBAN letter under the student’s name containing the bank’s stamp and signature.

Admission requirements for the Postgraduate (Master’s) Degree Program:

• Must be a UAE national.
• Must apply for a specialization in telecommunications or information technology fields.
• Must have achieved a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.00 in the bachelor’s degree.
• Must not have received any scholarship or financial assistance from another entity.
• If employed, the master’s student is eligible for the scholarship without the monthly allowance.
• (For males) No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the National Service Authority or a clearance letter.

Additional requirements for Engineering and IT Management programs:

• The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree in an ICT-related field.
• The applicant must provide an official employer recommendation letter supporting the intended degree.

For on-going Master students:

• CGPA 3.0 and TGPA 3.0 and above.
• Minimum completion of 9 credit hours.
• Students who have not been selected may apply again after at least one semester of university study, provided their GPA is not less than 3.0 out of 4.0.
