In the United Arab Emirates, the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) has launched an initiative to reduce intrusive marketing messages sent to mobile phones. This initiative allows users to block unwanted messages by following these steps:

Blocking messages from a specific sender: You can send a text message containing the letter "B" followed by the sender's number or name to 7726. This will automatically block all future messages from that sender.

Blocking all marketing messages starting with "AD-": If you wish to block all marketing text messages that begin with "AD-", you can send the word "Ball" to 7726. Licensed companies will then automatically block these messages.
