A consultation on organization of the DGOV Stand at GITEX Global 2024

The
Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) manages
and organizes the DGOV Stand at the GITEX exhibition annually. This is done
with collaborative effort of federal government entities to ensure exceptional
performance.
After
the conclusion of GITEX 2023, where over 30 federal entities participated in
the UAE DGOV Stand, TDRA seeks to collaborate with these entities to achieve
exceptional outcomes in the upcoming version of the exhibition. The goal is to
gather feedback, suggestions, and experiences from the previous version of the
exhibition, allowing for incorporating improvements and addressing any issues
to ensure the successful and distinguished organization of the stand in the
upcoming version.
Two
months before the commencement of the forthcoming GITEX, we will launch a
survey for the engagement of federal government entities. This survey will enable
these entities to contribute their ideas, feedback, and suggestions for
implementing necessary improvements.
Objective
The
consultation aims to gather the opinions, suggestions, and feedback of federal
government entities regarding the organization of GITEX Global 2024, in order
to incorporate any improvements in the upcoming version.

us. We will review and work on incorporating them into our improvement plan for
the exhibition over the next year.
Outcome
Based on the survey
feedback, several enhancements are planned for the DGOV stand at the next
edition of GITEX Global to ensure a more distinguished and engaging experience.
Efforts will be made to increase the participation of government entities and
service providers, potentially allowing sponsorship opportunities. The stand
will also focus on incorporating interactive technologies, such as AR/VR
experiences, AI-driven solutions, and transparent or holographic displays to
present data in a modern and engaging manner. Additionally, there will be a
stronger emphasis on AI awareness through public sessions, making technology
more accessible to visitors.
Further improvements
include enhancing networking opportunities with smarter digital tools,
integrating sustainability-focused infrastructure, and ensuring a more
inclusive experience with multilingual support and virtual participation. The
stand will continue to showcase cutting-edge digital innovations that highlight
the UAE's leadership in technological advancements, while also engaging
students and fostering greater collaboration between different stakeholders. The
goal is to maintain the creativity and attractiveness of the stand while making
it more interactive, informative, and forward-thinking.
