TSP Licensing Deadline

Dear Stakeholders,

The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) would like to remind all potential Trust Service Providers (TSPs) of the mandatory requirement to comply with the UAE Trust Services Framework in accordance with Federal Decree Law No. (46) of 2021 and its Executive Regulations.

All entities intending to offer services within the scope of the Trust Services Framework must engage with one of the approved Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) to commence the required conformity assessment as part of the licensing process.

Deadline for Compliance:
To ensure uninterrupted provision of services, all prospective TSPs must obtain the required license from TDRA. Entities that fail to meet this deadline will no longer be authorized to provide trust services in the UAE

We urge all interested stakeholders to start the engagement process with the designated CABs without delay to meet the regulatory requirements within the specified timeframe.
