The Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) represents the UAE in all Arab forums and meetings held under the umbrella of the Arab League, particularly those related to ICT. The Permanent Arab Committee for ICT emanates from the Arab Telecommunication and Information Council of Ministers. Moreover, from the Permanent Arab Committee for ICT emanates a number of specialized committees and working groups that focus on various topics such as The Arab Spectrum Management Group (ASMG), the Arab work group in charge of the preparation for the WTDC, and the Arab Group in charge of the preparation for the WTSA. The TDRA participates in these forums through the preparation of important working papers on their agenda, or through chairing or hosting them.
