Emirates ICT Innovation Center EBtIC
EBTIC is a research and innovation center jointly established by Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat), British Telecommunications (BT), and Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research. The Center is located at the Abu Dhabi campus of Khalifa University and is managed by research and administrative staff from Etisalat, BT, and Khalifa University.
EBTIC aims to advance intelligent systems technologies for the Next Generation Networks (NGNs) and NGN-enabled ICT applications and services, in order to establish a supportive infrastructure that facilitates and enables the digital economy in the UAE and beyond. Through collaboration with industrial, academic, and governmental entities, EBTIC is expected to become a driving force for innovation in ICT applications and services within the Middle East and beyond.
National Space Science and Technology Center, United Arab Emirates University
The National Center for Space Science and Technology was established at the initiative of the United Arab Emirates University, Emirates Space Agency and the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) represented by ICT Fund. The Center prioritizes excellence in space science and serves as an incubator for research, development, and innovation in space, as well as leadership in space engineering and technology, and the provision of innovative solutions to societal challenges.
The Center aims to generate a significant number of innovations in space science and technology in alignment with the UAE Vision 2021 National Agenda, supporting the development of a stable and diversified economy capable of adopting new economic models.
